Ein kurzer Blick zurück
Heute vor zehn Jahren habe ich zum ersten Mal einen Post auf diesem Blog veröffentlicht. Anlass genug für einen kleinen persönlichen Rückblick.
Als ich "Skalpell & Katzenklaue" einrichtete, befand ich mich in einer psychisch denkbar düsteren Lage. Entwicklungen jenseits meiner Kontrolle hatten dazu geführt, dass ich quasi über Nacht aus meinem bisherigen sozialen Umfeld herausgerissen worden war. Alle Fortschritte, die ich in der Zeit davor im Ringen mit dem Schwarzen Hund der Depression gemacht hatte, schienen zunichte. Die letzten übriggebliebenen sozialen Kontakte waren gekappt.
In gewisser Weise diente mir der Blog dazu, mich selbst neu zu erfinden. Was jetzt nicht heißen soll, er sei bloß eine Art Eigentherapie gewesen. Sein Inhalt entsprang von Beginn an meiner Liebe zur Phantastik, und ich hatte schon länger mit dem Gedanken an ein solches Projekt gespielt. Aber unter den gegebenen Umständen gewann er doch eine zusätzliche Bedeutung.
